Does Soda Cause Acne?

Hi, my name is Meghan Cray and I have been working as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in Boston, Massachusetts for over 2 years.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Maine in 2017. In 2020 I became a fully certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and began working as a regulatory specialist for Pea Pod Digital Labs.
In my free time, I help with Fundraising efforts for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and enjoy going on long walks with my lab Charlie.
Previously I worked as a Clinical Care Technician at tufts Medical center and as a Dietetic Intern, for Priority Nutrition Care. Both of these work roles provided me with a lot of patient care experience which has proved invaluable in my current role as a dietician.
I’ve always had a passion for food and promoting women’s health. The best part of my work is when I get to design one on one meal plans with clients to help them address the root cause of their nutrition issues. I frequently work with clients who are having nutrition struggles due to pregnancy, eating disorders, and post covid taste fallout. I find my job incredibly rewarding because I get to make a huge difference in people’s lives every day.
Most adults grew up following the food pyramid for nutrition advice which could not be farther from the truth for what most people should actually be eating.
I was originally drawn to GoodGlow because Sam is a first principles thinker. He (and the rest of the team) are obsessive about treating the root cause instead of covering up symptoms today. Using nutrition as a guiding light to help resolve acne breakouts and hormonal fluctuations is something I regularly talk to my patients about and is something that consistently works if followed consistently.
If you have any questions or want to get in touch please send a message to the GoodGlow team or message me on Linkedin. I love hearing from readers and anyone who is serious about improving their nutrition and health! Connect with Meghan on LinkedIn.
